Q&R sur le service

What is meant by a frequently touched surface?

A frequently touched surface is an area touched by one or multiple people, multiple times during the day. These are usually public areas. Examples would be door handles, handrails, light switches and common areas in offices, hospitals, care homes etc such as kitchens.

How often should fogging occur?

Once the disinfecting solution has been applied, the area is disinfected until it is decontaminated again. In order to be sure the area stays safe, it is wise to schedule fogging on a more regular basis. This could be monthly, weekly, daily or if different people use the area throughout the day, after each use. Please contact us for a free quote, tailored to your specific requirements.

Once fogging is complete, does that mean the surface is now disinfected and decontaminated forever?

As long as no contamination comes into contact with the surface again, it will be decontaminated. It is inevitable that viral and bacterial material could build up again over time therefore, more regular fogging should be considered.

What is fogging and why do I need it?

Many professionals in the biological chemical industry suggest that the pandemic could require ongoing future proofing in order to reduce the chance of future outbreaks. Fogging is a quick and effective way to disinfect and decontaminate areas effectively by, as the name suggests, using a mist to disinfect the area.

Fogging will then take place, you wait for 60 seconds, after which the area is disinfected.

What areas are likely to require fogging?

Any area can be 'fogged'. Surfaces that are touched frequently and by multiple people are at a higher risk of being contaminated. Fogging should therefore be considered as a fast and effective way to disinfect these areas.

How green is the solution you use and will it cause damage?

The disinfecting solution we use is eco friendly and turns to saline. No damage will be caused, unlike some of the old disinfectants that were used previously. Even better news - it won't make your furniture or clothes smell!

How effective is fogging?

The disinfecting solution we use kills 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, spores, mycobacteria, fungus and yeast - we'd say that's pretty effective!

How soon after fogging has been completed can people enter the area again?

The solution we use is harmless to people. Once fogging commences, it is wise to evacuate the area so that no surfaces are missed. The solution then takes around 60 seconds to dry, after which people can enter the area again.

How long does the solution take to dry?

The solution we use takes around 60 seconds to dry. This may differ depending on different factors, for example the temperature of the room.

What assesment questions will I be asked during my discovery call in order for you to provide me with my free quote?

- Is this an emergency? - What are you looking to fog? Is it an office, hospital, transport etc? - What size area are you looking to fog? How many square metres? - How many rooms is this? - What is your location? - What frequency would you like fogging to occur? - What are your business hours? - What is your ideal date for the area to be fogged? - What would your ideal time of day be for the area to be fogged? - What are the contact details of the person on site whilst fogging is completed?

What is the solution you use?

The disinfecting solution we use is made up of 3 components; water, salt and electricity. It is non-flammable, non-alcoholic, non-irritable, non-corrosive and non-toxic. Therefore it can be used in all environments including food. It is compliant with British Standards & European Norms BSEN 14476, 14024, 1276, 13704, 13697 & 1656.
